We were delighted to welcome back Old Twyfordian Charles Phillimore for a visit.
Charles left the school in 1966 after four years of boarding before joining Marlborough College. He is one of seven Phillimore boys to attend Twyford which includes his father, three brothers, uncle and first cousin.
He had a historic tour with our resident Archivist Andrew Keeling, who had dug out school photographs of each year that he was here and other documents that included record of his relations, including his brother and cousin's names painted on the Role of Honours board in the Old Dining Room, awarded for Divinity - a wonderful surprise. Many brilliant and humorous nostalgic anecdotes were shared.
If you would like to visit the School please do contact us - you are more than welcome.
