Celebrating Old Twyfordian Eliza Bristowe’s Hampshire Cricket Milestone

Many congratulations to Old Twyfordian Eliza Bristowe (2022), who this week received a tremendous honour, her Hampshire Cricket cap, presented ahead of the Glamorgan fixture by Assistant Coach James Hibberd.

Eliza’s achievement carries particular significance, as she becomes the first professional female player to progress fully through the Hampshire pathway, a landmark moment for both the club and all who have supported her journey.

During the presentation, heartfelt messages of pride and admiration were shared, including warm words from her former Twyford teachers, Gregg Lewis and Steve Riddle. Their reflections spoke not only to Eliza’s talent, but to her character, dedication, and the inspiration she continues to provide.

Everyone at Twyford School is immensely proud of Eliza’s accomplishments. We look forward to following her continued success and cheering her on throughout the season.
