Twyford welcomes back three Alumni cohorts

2013 Alumni visit Twyford
2013 Alumni visit Twyford

We were delighted to welcome back three Twyford Alumni cohorts on Saturday 18th May. Sixteen of the 2013 leavers joined us for lunch in the Mulberry Pavilion, they all  enjoyed catching up with old friends and teachers. They were able to visit our current 1944 Europe exhibition followed by a tour of the school by our resident Archivist Andrew Keeling.

We were then joined by a group of OTs from 1991 and 1995 who brought their families for afternoon tea in the Jimmy Adams pavilion and watch the afternoon's cricket against Pilgrims.  They were thrilled to see Anthony Lafferty, Head of History, who was their old Head of Boarding and they had a special surprise visit from former teachers Greg Bishop, Rosy Greenleaf and Tim Prince - a lot of reminiscing!

It was wonderful to see so many back at Twyford and to hear everyone's news. If you would like to visit the school or help to arrange a reunion, please do contact Charlotte Lawrence on clawrence@twyfordschool.com
