Twyford at Tosca

During the Summer term we hosted a very special drinks reception in celebration of our twelve pupils who have been taking part in this year’s performance of Tosca at the Grange Festival. We welcomed over 60 parents, children, grandchildren, teachers, alumni and governors who all gathered for flowing Grange sparkling wine and ex Twyford mum and chef extraordinaire Annabelle Maclay’s wonderful canapes at the Twyford marquee, ahead of the opera performance. Former Twyford pupil Felix de Merode was also on hand to help make sure the event ran smoothly – thank you to everyone that joined us.

This is the 15th year Twyford have had pupils performing at The Festival and this year we were involved in 7 sell out Tosca performances which received excellent reviews in the national press. Since 2010, over 100 Twyford pupils have performed in world-class opera. Congratulations to all those involved and a big thank you to Mr Hall for all your hard work. We look forward to welcoming some of the Grange Festival singers to Twyford in the autumn for a Senior Choir masterclass and performance.
